Oh, the term is still very much in use at Disney. Go to

wanted to know about it all.
Saw a very interesting article in the May/98 issue of Wired about Danny
Hillis, creator of the Connection Machine and massively parallel processing
in general. Hillis is now "a Disney Fellow and vice president at Walt Disney
Imagineering". Just checked Wired's online archives and see that the
article is available on the Web:
