>I think you are on the right track. Question is how do you find that

Find someone who has already taught themselves many things. I may be
biased here because I'm a self-taught programmer. I studied psychology in
school and had no interest in computers. I think that someone who has
taught themselves about the web, etc will be more likely to want to
continue learning.

>I have encountered very, very few people who spend any time at
>learning anything. I dropped out of college so I know I am ignorant.

I have a master's degree in clinical psychology but I still feel ignorant
about computer stuff much of the time. Since there is no way to know it
all, it's easy to feel that way. I'd be frightened of someone who felt they
knew everything.

>About the language. Were I you I would find a programmer who
>enjoys, appreciates. I keep getting bothered by my fellow employees
>who are looking for fun stuff we can all do; fun for me is developing
>my programming ideas.

My first programming language was MOO (multi-user object oriented) so I
don't really know anything different.
