I've noticed this since I am no longer turning off my workstation(s) each
night. I'm working in two different locations, and being paranoid that I'll
have a file on one computer that I need on the other, I'm keeping both
"open" M-F so I have access to the HDs. Since I've started this -- I am
having more NC 4.x crashes -- but haven't noticed as much NN3.x crashes.
"More" means at least one/day ... yesterday, about five (at that point, I
rebooted).
Both machines have Cold Fusion Studio (HS on steroids).
This machine has 64 MB of RAM, but I can't have PS, Excel, Homesite and NC
open at the same time. "Not enough system resources" error.

Well I believe that the Mac handles RAM allocation smoother than Wintel -
-but I'm sure you hard-core guys know more about this than I do. I NEVER
turn off my Mac -- and I rarely have to re-boot. I routinely have "open"
Eudora, NC 4.x, BBEdit, Photoshop, PPP control panel, Fetch (FTP). I do have
NC 'quit' on me occassionally -- but usually when i'm hitting a site w/java
or heavy-duty plug-ins and i try to 'stop and back out' ....
