Barry, you only need the RealAudio server if you're running your own
server. If you're hosting your site on a commercial IPP running RealAudio,
then you don't need to buy the server software.
If you want to test a true RA file versus an http streamed file, we can
upload a copy of your file to our client's space on an RA server for
comparison.
