Hi Brent,
Thanks for your comments, I really appreciate them. I've downloaded the
Real Audio 5.0 package (I'm on a Mac, the new G2 software isn't available
for the Mac yet) to encode files.
After reading through the pdf help document, I am begining to understand a
few things. Basically, my situation is that my client has given me a number
of his audio CDs. He wants to offer clips from them on his web site. It
appears that I first have to convert the CD tracks to something like a
.wav. .au, .mov or .aif file type _before_ I can encode them into the Real
Audio format. How do I go about doing this conversion? It sounds like you
are PC-based, so I understand you may well not be familar with the Mac
tools.
