Not all browsers support colored table borders. And some support background
colors for table cells and some don't. You'll find a full discussion of the

Go to the Tables section and scroll down to the paragraph "Using color in
tables." I think you'll find this interesting. The point I would like to
make is that if you use the various color options in tables, you should
test your result in all browsers, especially older ones, to be sure
everything displays satisfactorily without the color attributes.
