Then there was North Star Computers with the first multi-user O/S
for the PC's (late 1970's, early 80's). Five users maximum.
Dumb terminals on their Horizon's (the same one you could build
with a Heath kit). They had the best software on the market,
which, BTW is still running today, only under a different name --
ACCPAC by Computer Associates (and for the most part, still
operating like the old days).
