All expenses are always passed to customers. Even Billy The Kid does
that. And some DO sell, if they have local sales permits. Why not???
Selling, or getting leads to folks who want to buy, is the whole purpose
of the shows. They want wholesalers, retailers, corporate buyers, and
end-user customers. (Mostly, they would prefer the corporate volume
buyers.)

1. The seminars, where you can talk to experts.
2. The booths, where you can talk to vendors,
some (many) of whom have actual developers at their booth.
3. The people who came to the show, many of them who have similar
interests and experiences with products you are interested in.
