Behind, in that you are at the wonderful level of techyness that we
had in the computer market in 1976-1978. (Wayne Green' REAL Byte
magazine, and later Kilobaud, etc. I still own two IMSAI 8080's!)
Ahead, in that you are connected like we will be in... about 2005 -
2007.
Enjoy it while it lasts! And I agree about Manhattan!!! I use to
take a bus in whenever the ACM had particularly good lectures. In winter,
I was sick from the pollution by the time I got back to Connecticut. But
sometimes the lecture was worth it. Work there every day? NEVER!!!
