Not familiar with the company, but would question the "354 both ways."
Pricing here by Bell Atlantic is along the lines of:
$39.95 a month for 128 downstream, 90 upstream
$59.95 a month for 256 downstream, 90 upstream
$89.95 a month for 384 downstream, 90 upstream
$159.95 a month for 256 downstream, 256 upstream
$300+ for 768 both ways . . .
Also, check the availability of IPs. Bell Atlantic will not give you
one on a home DSL (but they'll be happy to rent you server space), only
a business DSL. check for hidden charges too--again, BA requires you to
pay an extra $24.95 a month to have an email account that you won't use
through their ISP choice (i.e., bellatlantic.net)
Also, check what kind of bandwidth you're sharing out of the ISP. DSL
is worthless if 400 users are going through a single T-1 line.
as much as I'd love to have cheap DSL, when I read the actual contract I
found it twice as expensive as advertised, with half the features I
expected. :P
