Must be the same way I burst out in laughter when I read that MS said
that IE is a needed componet of Windows.

Must not be that hard though, I tought a class on unix system usage last
year.  I have people that have never used unix proficent as a user
within 3 weeks... In windows it took them all semester to understand the
basics.

Really though, unix is no more complex to users than windows is.  You
set everything up for them (same as PC makers do for windows) and give
them some taining on the commands and they will be mving arround at the
same speed as in Windows.

And 3 PC makers and Corel are pusing for more Linux installed systems
and Linux bassed software.  PC magazines are also giving more good light
to the Linux OS, other than it is the "hackers" OS.

Wonder if they got that saying from using VMS ... that is one of the
worst OS's I have used.

There is still Linux.
