I don't want to start a flame war here, but if George is implying that the
best way to promote a site to the search engines is to use the most
requested keywords in your meta keyword tag _regardless_ of whether or not
they relate to the content of your site, IMO that is irresponsible and...
well, I won't use the stronger adjectives I have in mind.
Look, what you do with that approach is draw people to your site where they
will discover that they've been tricked, the site does not contain the
content they were looking for. I think this is just plain wrong, and an
unethical way to use the meta keyword tag.
I hope that this is not what George meant, and my apologies if I
mis-interepreted his reply to Joseph's post.
