Wishful thinking or poppycock? An ad's an ad. On TV you can't block 'em.
Imagine if you could. On the net you can. This is a problem for the old
gaurd. No way around it as far as I can tell. Ads on the internet, in
whatever form, can be blocked. That is what will, to refer to the quote
below, "transform the business model". Revenue streams that aren't built on
shoving flotsom at people will transform the business model.
I've been using "Ads Off" for around 6 months, but once in a while I *do*
see banner ads, heh. Last I heard clickthrough ratios were under 1%, and my
guess is they are declining.
