Hi Marius, As mentioned in the wiki, i don't see much advantage in just using Scala as a replacement for Java (in WebObjects). At wowodc 10 i presented the case for Scala in concurrent WO applications.
Now i've another suggestion :) One of the benefits of Scala is being able to use the new breed of SQL-like DSL languages for data access. E.g: Squeryl. (It's by no means the only one out there). I've just added a set of EO templates that can help migrate your EO model -> Squeryl.
