I chopped the graphic b/c it made it seem like the download was going to start when you clicked the arrow, which is what will happen when you click the arrow on the os.com page. On our page it will just take you to the os.com download page b/c they have the license info. > What about aligning the OpenSolaris.Org stuff to the right and bring the > line more center? > > I still disagree with having two identities (.Org and .Com) I think this > should remain transparent to the user as best as possible. I agree that it's bit confusing b/c the user does not know /why/ there are two logos/sites, but for a certain amount of time there will be two separate sites with two different looks, and I'm trying to introduce the the concept as best I can. I can make the split more even, but I was trying to make it look like os.org was the primary focus and os.com was the secondary focus with the page structure. I suspect that it did not work. ;) > I like the quasi hidden look of opensolaris at the top in blue. > I think the Go to OpenSolaris.org is kinda redundant... wouldn’t they > potentially already be there? Well, the problem I am struggling with is how to allow a user to skip the high-level info and just take them back to the 'old' home page. What about 'Continue to OpenSolaris.org?' - which David Comay suggested? > > Derek... good work... don’t take my comments as malicious, not everyone can > be pleased with every solution, that includes me!
