One of the goals of this effort is to relax the requirements that everything
to be tightly integrated into a single large application.

If Alan's delegation/federation is successful, there is no need to convert
something like mediawiki into a component...

Genunix's wiki shows that mediawiki as-is is good enough.  If it can be
easily skinned, use external auth, and [the other E-requirements], then,
even if it has to live as wiki.os.o, things should still be OK.
