Once you have the right format for the 4010A1 file, you then have to decipher the 997 file. When a file is rejected, you get a line number along with a segment name.
 
If the segment is N3, that could be for any address on any claim. Most people have a temporary claim file that gets transmitted to the carrier. Once received, it gets deleted. I could be remade and then you can get to the line number.
 
Would it be possible to get them to change the line number to the loop number, i.e. 2310D?
How does someone go about this?
