997 Could Be Better

Once you have the right format for the 4010A1 file, you then have to decipher the 997 file. When a file is rejected, you get a line number along with a segment name.   If the segment is N3, that could be for any address on any claim. Most people have a temporary claim file that gets transmitted to the carrier. Once received, it gets deleted. I could be remade and then you can get to the line number.   Would it be possible to get them to change the line number to the loop number, i.e. 2310D?
