Communications and Control Subcommittee (X12C). Suggest you get in contact
with them to suggest any changes. Start at www.x12.org to obtain the names of current
co-chairs. You might also want to look at their just
approved 999 transaction.
Alternatively, you may want to look at
relatively new Implementation Guide 004050X166 [www.wpc-edi.com] as a future method for better
acknowledging HIPAA health care transactions.
For [only] claims acknowledgements, there's
also Implementation Guide 004040X167.
