Thanks for the apology, but it's really not necessary. While WeeWX and
meteobridge cover the same territory, they have different missions.

WeeWX is open-source software designed with the hobby enthusiast in mind.
Flexibility, extensibility, and experimentation are primary goals. You are
free to write your own drivers, uploaders, services, etc.

Meteobridge is a commercial product for those that value turn key
solutions. It is not extensible, and it is not open source.

At least, that's how I position the two.

Besides, I'm not making a living off of WeeWX, so I don't have much at
stake. I do it for fun.
