To connect the Sainlogic WS3500 to WeeWX you'll have the following options:
- Use WS View to configure the "Customized" server upload feature. There you'll choose Ecowitt protocol (not WU as that limits sensor available). You'll point it to your WeeWX system using the port and interval that you want. Then in WeeWX you'll install the Interceptor driver and configure it for type ecowitt-client. Make sure you listening port matches and that there are no firewall issues with that port and you are set. - The other way is to buy the Ecowitt GW1000 with matching frequency of your Sainlogic (433, 868, or 915 MHz) and or if you have 868 MHz you can also get the Froggit DP1500 which is the same thing as a GW1000 with 868 MHz. Then you'll be able to use the WeeWX GW1000 API driver which is really nicely done and you can expand your station much further with even more sensors.
