I took an intern with me on my recent business trip. I decided to vacation in Maui for a few days after our meetings in Honolulu, and I invited him to stay with me because he doesn't annoy the crap out of me (like interns can), and I know he doesn't make enough money to extend the trip on his own. There was absolutely NO sexual overtones to my offer (or undertones for that matter). It makes me a little sick to think he may have interpreted it that way. He did end up staying in a hostel in Waikiki instead of taking me up on my offer...
