Why is protesting wrong? Is it because in your mind they have taken it too far by closing the school? Are there times when it is acceptable or should people just "put up and shut up"?
People applaud the protests that brought I. King Jordan into the presidency so at some point they were acceptable.
Personally I find it all very sad that there isn't more protesting going on... All this CRAP in Iraq. Lots of people dying and no one is stepping up and making a big deal out of it.

First off, some Twain:

What's wrong with shutting down a college/university via protests about
some issue important to the student body as a whole (which is the case
in this instance)? So long as there is no rioting or property damage I
see no problem here. This is not 20 or so students holding a campus
hostage here, it's a good chunk of the student body. How else are they
supposed to get the results they want?
