Shut it down indefinitely?  Risk failing their classes and having to 
drop out?  I think this would make students think they can shut down 
any school for any reason if they get enough students to agree with 
it.  Also I do think it is affecting their reputation and parents 
might not send their children there next year if there is this much 
unrest on campus. Again I think it is a means justifying the ends 
thing.  Also I think the protesters need to be on the same page so it 
doesn't look like everyone is protesting something different and they 
don't have a unified agenda.
