what is the difference?  And anyway you did say worthless, not 
irrelevant.  I thought they were synonyms sort of, but maybe not.  
Guess it depends on the context.  I think George Bush should be 
impeached.  Is my opinion on this worthless?  Probably irrelevant, 
since my thinking that will have no bearing on whether he is or not.  
I don't think I know any less about the Gallaudet situation than 
anyone else who is watching or reading the news stories about it who 
isn't deaf.  Anyway, you never know if someone you know will have a 
deaf child or become deaf later in life or whatever.  So it could 
affect anyone you know.  So I would want to know whether the only 
deaf university in the world is a place I would want someone I know 
to go.  At the moment to be honest it isn't.  Is that opinion 
worthless too?
