julie - i think that's a GREAT idea! i'd love to get a hold of a
lot of the classic alternative...
i'm thinking some of xtc might not be such a great idea (ie. "dear
god"...) for such an impressionable age - when i was pre-teen i was
really into elvis costello, stephen bishop, b-52's, james taylor,
one of my fav songs was "wreck of the edmund fitsgerald" - and i was
into velvet underground, depeche mode, violent femmes... all the
typical 80's alternative and late 70's/early 80's radio pop that my
mother used to listen to all the time...
