Strange -- I got areo's email with Ray's quoted, but never got Ray's. I didn't get the one about the birthday bash either. I wonder why I'm not getting some emails. (I couldn't have made the b-day thing anyway though since I was on my way to park city to celebrate MY b-day on the slopes...and the bars later...great new martini bar just opened on main street...you should go there next time areo)
Anyway, just want to say that XTC is not just for kids (although anyone turned onto them at a young age is very lucky). They're one of the greatest bands ever to record and are so incredibly underrated. AND -- I'm one of the very few people in the entire world who has seen them live. All these others are good calls too. I think it would be cool to turn her on to the adult TMBG rather than the stuff they did for kids. And I have a very crazy rock lobster memory so I'm all for that.
