An Air France flight bound for Oslo has been forced to
make an emergency landing in Belgium after a naked
passenger tried to storm the cockpit. The flight which
left Paris was re-routed to Brussels international airport
after the 31-year-old stripped off all his clothes at his
seat and tried to force his way into the cockpit, officials
at the Brussels prosecutor's office said. The pilot of
the plane requested help from Belgian air traffic control
which allowed the plane to land. The man, a French
national of Tunisian origin was removed from the
plane and arrested by police. He was later released
without being charged.
Police say a man apparently shot in the chest four
times at a Chelsea restaurant got up and ran away.
The incident happened on the Fulham Road last night.
Members of the public alerted police after hearing
gunshots and seeing a man fall to the floor. Police
said three men were spotted running from the scene,
followed shortly afterwards by the "victim". A spokesman
says a number of cartridges were found at the scene
and are being examined for clues into the incident.
He says it's not clear if the bullets were live or blank
and added it's not known if the man was injured.
An Italian couple have been arrested after refusing
to stop having sex in a public swimming pool. They
were caught by a caretaker, but the man told him he
would continue until the woman reached orgasm.
The caretaker called the police and officers arrested
both the bathers at the Milan pool. They have been
charged with indecent behaviour and are still in
custody, waiting to appear before a local tribunal
judge.
