Ok, ok, my ideas are not innovative, but I am going to state them here anyway...

My personal wish list for OW is:

1. A _quick_ 1.0 release. I do not think classic was so far from being
declared 1.0 and released as such. From the linux perspective, it only
needed some clean-ups of the sconscripts and it could be eventually
shipped from distros (probably without the video stuff).
Probably a a couple of weeks of work of the team would have made it,
but now everyone turned to NG...

2. replace ffmpeg with ogg theora, so EVERY linux distro can ship a
video softphone...
This is also more important if you really believe in what you said here:
> I mentioned in a previous e-mail that we're now focusing on the

where the KEYWORDS are _open_ and _standard_

3. try to be the "GAIM" of softphones. That mens adding supoort for
calling other clients as skype, gnomemeeting, gtalk, etc. (but please,
do not set a blocker on this for the NG release... :) )

4. conference call (audio is enough, or I guess the bandwidth would kill us...)

Cheers
