Update of bug #9872 (project wesnoth):
Summary: Problem with traits in 1.3.7 => Problem with traits
in 1.3.7, "random_trait=yes" not working as expected

Follow-up Comment #7:
Okay, since we did some testing today in the IRC chan
(http://wesnoth.debian.net/%23wesnoth-dev-2007-09-17.log starting at ~12:20),
we can confirm that there is no more problem with "healing on levelup" left.
The other problem that is left is that the tag "random_trait=yes" does not
seem to work at all when spawning a unit. At least it does not work when
doing so at the beginning of a scenario. *BUT* the traits do get applied when
loading a savegame of that scenario. If nothing is specified internally the
tag "random_trait=yes" is set, so you will get such a problem whenever
loading a savegame with spawned units that did not have the traits already
defined *or* the tag "random_trait=no" specified.
This is a critical bug because you can not reload a scenario with spawned
units since the now assigned traits will cause *real* problems... So this is
still somehow blocking.
