I have found another dmg package with the same issue: Constellation http://www.paperdragongames.com/ and when running DeRez in terminal: derez /Volumes/Wesnoth\ 1.5.13/Applications > ~/Desktop/Wesnoth-alias-output.txt shows (with Wesnoth): data 'alis' (0, "created by NDAlias") { /* ...........Macin */ /* tosh HD......... */ /* ......¬⁄uàH+.... */ /* ...Applications. */ /* ................ */ /* ................ */ /* ................ */ /* .....À¬'........ */ /* ..ˇˇˇˇ..I ...... */ /* ............¬⁄≠» */ /* ........¬'?D.... */ /* .....A.p.p.l.i.c */ /* .a.t.i.o.n.s.... */ /* ...M.a.c.i.n.t.o */ /* .s.h. .H.D....Ap */ /* plications..../. */ /* ˇˇ.. */ ... Notice the extra lines with the path to "Macintosh HD:Applications". It's my guess that this guy's alias library that programs are building aliases with is causing something quirky to happen.
