This sounds good. > a) completely separate core images from ones used in campaigns > images/ > core/ > campaigns/ > Heir_To_The_Throne/ > The_Rise_Of_Wesnoth/ I think if art is good enough for us to want to ship it with the game, then it should be available in general, and should not be tagged as specific to one campaign. The other option is moving all "mainline" campaigns further out from the core, making them more like user campaigns, with images for each campaign. Both these approaches seem to make sense. However, the in-between approach is the worst of both worlds. On the one hand, it makes it very difficult to separate the campaigns from the engine (as has been previously mooted). On the other hand, it creates a situation where some unit portraits are tagged with a campaign name, even though they are generally useful. I also would prefer not to have directories tagged with artists' names. This goes counter to the way we do attributions elsewhere, and makes it difficult to classify images that are the work of several people. On the other hand, we really do need to make sure all images and music in the game have proper embedded tags, identifying the artist and the copyright terms. -- [EMAIL PROTECTED]
