Has anybody successfully monitored a Crystal Reports Viewer? Our CR server occasionally has a problem where the service actually goes down (we're trying to determine the culprit). Until then, I've built a Crystal CSP web page that requests a simple report from our Oracle database and displays that report on a CR Viewer in a web page. When the service goes down, you can contact the web page, but you never get the report. I've used Ethereal to watch what happens when I request the page and have mimicked that in the HTTP content scan monitor. But, it never seems to work. I always get a "down" response.
