I asked for some thing like this a while ago, but it was based more on per
map. The best suggestion I got was to custom write (with something like
PERL) a script that would check the number of down devices every so often
and if it was above the level wanted then it would send a trap or syslog to
WUG and that would send out an alert.

I think it could work, but have not had the time to code this together. And
now it is dropping down the list fast.

I hope this helps. If you find a better answer or get this on to work I
would like to hear about it.

We use Whatsup Gold to monitor several thousand devices. Often it is
normal to have 30-40 of these devices are down at a given time. Is there
any way to have WUG send an alert when a certain percentage of those
devices goes down? Say there are 2000 devices can a set up and alert to be
sent when 4 percent of those devices go down?

Thanks!
