Hi Joyce -- great idea - -why don't you just start work on an adult
education textbook -- just do it and we will help make this happen. Why not
list this as one of the CollabOERate strategic projects (
http://wikieducator.org/OERF:CollabOERate). I'm pretty sure that around the
world we can identify a few institutions who would like to work on an OER
course / textbook for Adult education.

The OER Foundation will also be hosting a strategic meeting here in Dunedin,
New Zealand for a new project concept called the mOER4one project. This is
similar to the buy-one-get-one-free concept where a tertiary organisation
will allocate resources (time and money) for the development of one OER
course of textbook. If, for example, four institutions participate -- we get
four courses in return for the investment of one course. You get the idea --
with this approach we bring together the best WikiEducator course design
expertise with proper project management for completion. The participating
institutions decide on their own priorities and we make this happen. Perhaps
SUNY/Empire State College would like to join us?

Cheers
Wayne
