Hey Randy , sorry for "mislead" the discussion , but since it is a
conversation and disscussion , and created by all of us , so sometimes , if
it is not too far sidetracked which I am myself aware of , I will try not to
wonder too far from the focus

I did not mean to do it , in where I come from ( China ) , we are as
previldeged as most of western people to not even talking about using OER ,
and acting with openess and access but first , we need to be able to get
access and literally"open " the page

Ning was blocked in China once for a long time , I believe it is also
something to do with Gene interested abt "commuity infomatics "

to understand your concern , I reread your question in this thread , you
felt irritating or even annoying to cost so much trouble to just sign onto
the blog

what I am feeling is not even sign up to the blog , but The whole Ning are
going to close the door to users like me

That sucks too right ?

Leo
