Surely this issue can be solved by talking without force: if you don't think so, you get force applied to YOU; you started a fight, and lost it. Because you went and did something contradicting user preferences; WMF did not. You'd think it's "better" because it's "unchanged compared to what it was X months ago", and that justifies your thing?
