Hi Abhinav, First of all, voting in Wiki world is never about the exact numbers. It is an opinion seeking exercise to reach consensus reached based on the inputs.
There are more names signed under Bangalore who have a better chance of being invited and attending this event (based on the community nominations). CIS and Wikimedia India Chapter both operate from Bangalore. So, conducting this event in Bangalore has merit based on logistics too. Ravi
