Yes. IF (and only if) they came with the drive -- directly bundled with the 
drive.
This was popular in the version 5 series when they gave it out BUNDLED WITH
almost every drive I was buying at the time...
When version 6 came out, Nero was not given out as freely, so I did not get ANY
drives with Nero/Bundled. (Well, IIRC...)

I started to mark the disks that came with the drives as it became a huge 
problem
when wanting to do a re-install...  Sometimes you could find the serial number 
buried
in a special file with a very odd extension on the install CD, but other times 
"not"...
