I wouldn't assume that at this point. Not until you at least run the drive manufacturers disk diagnostic tool. Note, the BDElog.txt file is normally related to the Brilliant Digital malware/crapware..... Also I'd suggest cloning the disk with ghost or drive image etc and then running chkdsk on the drive via XpPE.... I've seen the rebooting problem cured on at least 60% of machines with this problem just by running chkdsk.
