We have a set of
computers which do not have unrestricted access to the
Internet. I will have to download to my home. And I happily
use 98se.
What!?!?! The service packs being discussed are for WinXP. No way will
either SP1 or SP2 install on Win98SE.
I interpreted Jim's comment to mean he uses XP at the office
and 98SE at home.
Jim, if you don't have unrestricted access to the office computers
you may not be able to install SP2. The SP2 installation
requires you to log in with administrator rights. Unless you are
the official IT person for the office computers, I'd hesitate to
mess with them.
