It seems to me that we may all be like the three blind men
describing an elephant based on what they "felt".
Let me narrow it down a little, if possible.
The problem: I can't install Dragon because the volume is too
low.
Searching for the cause brought up two points:
1. The microphone isn't installed
2. There is no volume adjustment icon on my taskbar
Therefore, using Bill's directions
"START/PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/ENTERTAINMENT/VO
LUMECONTROL" doesn't work because there is no "volume
control". There is also no "record button".
So, is the elephant a Tree (feeling the legs) or a Great Snake
(feeling the trunk)??
What am I missing that my Microphone won't install? Simply the
volume control program?
Thanks,
Jim
