Seems like yours might...
I can look up some commands you can modify and try tomorrow
to test for this exact condition. I need to find them on my rented
servers/hosting service site...
OR (just as good) an e-mail hosting company (or service) that
uses ESMTP and higher port numbers (the port number to be determined
by them, so they can listen on that port...)
Sometimes when you call these other places (or e-mail their tech support)
they will either not know, or give out bad info... (Lots of luck...)
PL] I see I am in for some serious shopping for a good provider.
In a case like this, Gmail is the provider, and at least in the US, will tell
you to use different ports that are not blocked here (at least...)
Hence my other questriuon about what ports you are using with an e-mail
program connecting to the Gmail servers directly...
