Catch??? Nonsense, locally (Vancouver, BC, Canada) I can get oem NEC 3520A or Pioneer 110D drives for cd$60-$70, on sale the same drives can be had for cd$48 or less. http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?majorcatid=103&minorcatid=1015 These are top of the line drives in perfomance and features. Check web reviews. You can also buy the same drives in retail boxes at Staples, FutureShop/BestBuy for $100 more if you are so inclined. Personally I'd rather spend that $100 on buying a full suite of burning software that I like. -- Harondel J.
