These are top of the line drives in perfomance and features. Check web
reviews. You can also buy the same drives in retail boxes at Staples,
FutureShop/BestBuy for $100 more if you are so inclined. Personally I'd
rather spend that $100 on buying a full suite of burning software that I
like.
I'm in complete agreement with your whole post.
I hope that suite does NOT include Roxio anything. ;-)
