Yes, they are accessible by everyone, but the default permissions only allow the Owner group to delete or change them. Since you are using Pro (logged in as admin, of course), just right-click the folder and go to Properties. On the Security tab, highlight Computername\Users and give the group full control. That should do the trick. It can be done in XP Home, too, but you must reboot to Safe Mode to get the security tab.

Alternatively, on a home computer, you can give Users full control of the My Documents folder as well. I did that with my limited account so I have full access even when logged in as admin. Just put a shortcut somewhere to make it easier to get to.
