Well it could be a data+music CD in which case the .CDA files aren't
visible, but it does sound more like a pure data CD.

Since you say you have this Sonic software, does your friend who gave you
the CD also have the Sonic software, and is that what was used to create the
CD?  (a question asked earlier but not answered)

BTW are you sure it's a CD, and not a DVD ?

Sounds like a data cd & I'll bet there is an autorun.inf file.
