Does Mozilla have an option for MAPI assignment? Eudora, for
example, gives you three choices: Never, when Eudora is running, and
Always. If either of the latter two are checked, then Eudora will
intercept "mail to" requests from any app this is making a send
request to the mail client. Even if OE is set as default, if Mozilla
has has control of MAPI requests that may be what is causing your problem.
We use Eudora for mail, but have Outlook installed for synch'ing
calendars, etc. with my wife's PDA. So, I know that Outlook squawks
if it is set as default (under Internet | Programs | Email) and
doesn't have MAPI control, but I'm not sure about OE.
