I have an old Timeport & it's basically the same phone. It would do
faxing. I never had to install anything that I can remember but that
has been a while ago. Both my Samsung A310 & the Timeport just
appeared in the Device Manager. The Timeport attached to a Serial
Port that I had to configure as a modem but once that was done Winfax
was able to find it. It seems to me that I used it for faxing
occasionally with my old Acer laptop but I won't swear to anything. ;-)
