Or run chkdsk from the Recovery Console to repair ntoskrnl,
and other hidden problems.
For the command options: c:winnt> chkdsk /?
If chkdsk doesn't fix it, then it's time for SpinRite ,
to recondition -- or at least diagnose -- the drive.
