Actually Outlook does have a newsreader - Outlook Express!!!!!!!!!!!!
Iether way this is a terrible newsreader for dealing with binaries. I have
found Newsbin Pro to be exceedingly good for automatically sucking up and
dealing with the thousands of parts that make up some binaries from multiple
news servers. As Wayne says there are several others
QuickPar and WinRAR are also must have tools for what you seem to want to
do.

Outlook Express already comes with Windows XP, Outlook XP and 2003 come with
Office XP and Office 2003 respectively. :)

Morning all,
Can someone recommend a good newsgroup reader specifically for trawling the
binary newsgroups?
In my experience postings to the binary groups are split into lots of little
postings, so I'd expect there to be programs around that can ensure all the
individual files are downloaded correctly.
Thanks,
R
